(hypertext markup language)
   Le langage HTML (hypertext markup language) est un langage de marquage utilisé pour créer ou mettre en forme des documents destinés au web, et les relier entre eux au moyen de liens hypertextes et liens hypermédias. L’extension d’un fichier HTML est “.html” ou “.htm”. Les spécifications du langage HTML sont définies par le W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), l’organisme international chargé du développement du web.
